Sean and Colleen
This was a very special wedding painting to create given at the family rehearsal dinner. My son and his future bride had many charming engagement photos taken by Versano Photography, but I chose this one because of theirĀ genuine flashing smiles at each otherš.
Mid-way through the painting, you'll see the background was becoming too noisy so, I decided to turn the hard pastel sticks on their sides and blend all the colors together. With a muted and blurry background effect, I think it helped push both figures forward.
(FYI, the random times when my son came over the house, I totally scrambled hiding this painting from him lol!)
